Franklin has three kinds of houses, and gutter repair Franklin TN calls sort themselves the same way.

The historic district — Lewisburg Avenue, Fair Street, the blocks around Third and Main — is wood-frame Victorian and early-1900s houses with steep roofs, decorative trim and, on many of them, half-round gutters or built-in box gutters lined with metal. The Harpeth and the low lots

Franklin sits along the Harpeth River, and the neighborhoods near it — parts of Fieldstone Farms, the streets off Hillsboro Road near the river bends — have heavy soil that stays wet for days after a storm. A downspout ending at the foundation on those lots keeps the crawl space damp through spring.
